Despite some restrictions being in place, our staff and residents haven’t let that stop them getting back to living at Westward Care this June.
We’ve been taking advantage of the sunshine to celebrate birthdays with barbeques, indulged in some pet therapy thanks to Hope Pastures rescue ponies and our staff’s own cuddly pooches, celebrated Ascot’s Ladies Day with delicious finger food and welcomed Balbir Singh Dance Company for an intimate performance for our residents.
We were also thrilled to welcome families into
Pennington Court,
Headingley Hall and
Southlands for an extra special Father’s Day. After not being able to see their loved ones face-to-face last year, we wanted to make the day extra special for our residents, so Westward Care gifted some hampers for our families to enjoy throughout the day.
We know that for some families returning to normality might throw up concerns around care, especially if those looking after older family members are returning to work after furlough, or if the past year has raised questions about more long-term support for your loved one.
But you can be reassured that as well as helping our residents live life to its fullest, we’re also safely welcoming new residents, Apartment owners and short-term guests on a daily basis. You can find out more about how we’re welcoming new residents
