Our At Home care service brings all the benefits and peace of mind of our award-winning professional social care services to the comfort of your own home. It enables you to purchase one of our Apartments with the reassurance of care and support on-site if, or when, you need it. 

On request, our dedicated team can offer assistance with personal care, chaperone services, domestic duties including cleaning and laundry, shopping and meal preparation.

Designed especially to bring older people greater independence, At Home gives you the freedom to live your life as you please and choose as little or as much everyday help as you need. We’ll also take away the worry of everyday chores.

Will I have the same person each day?
As a company we appreciate how comforting it can be to see the same person every day. Wherever possible, we strive to keep changes to staff rotas to a minimum and reduce disruption to care needs and routines. However it is not always possible to assign a specific carer.

How do I pay for my care?
Usually by a monthly invoice. If you wish to pay by standing order our accounts department can supply you with details. You may also be entitled to receive help from the Government or Social Services. We’ll be happy to give you further advice about this during your home visit.

What happens when your reception is closed?  
For added peace of mind, we always maintain a level of on-site care and support staff 24/7. You can call them day or night if you need any help or support.

What safeguards are in place?
For security, all our staff go through a rigorous vetting procedure before they start work. This includes a face-to-face interview, a criminal records check and a thorough induction process. We are also registered with the Care Quality Commission, who regularly monitor our people and carry out on-site inspections.

Do you provide short-term care?  
We recognise that everybody’s care needs are different and aim to be as flexible as possible. So, if you require care or support for only a few days/weeks/months, we’ll be happy to discuss this with you. To make sure you get exactly the care you need, we take time to get to know you first and to talk through your wishes and concerns with you, your family and your social worker.

How much do your care packages cost?
Our convenient ‘At Home’ personal care services start from as little as £15 per hour and you can pick and choose the services you need. Naturally, everyone is different. So if you’d like to create a personal plan that suits your circumstances, simply give us a call. A member of our friendly team will be happy to visit you, assess your needs and chat through what support you would like.
