On Friday 18th October Headingley Hall held a ‘Wear it Pink’ fundraising coffee morning to support the charity Breast Cancer Now.

Residents, relatives and staff made a donation to wear something pink and enjoy tea, coffee and selection of homemade cakes.  Along with enjoying the delicious cakes, which included lemon cake and chocolate cake to name a few, everyone had a fun morning participating in the pink tombola, games and raffle to raise funds for this fantastic cause.

An amazing £585 was raised for Breast Cancer Now who are a UK charity providing world-class research and life-changing care for people affected by breast cancer.

Thanks to everyone who took part, from those who contributed with their baking skills, donated raffle prizes and helped on the day to those who made a donation.  The fantastic amount raised would not have been possible without you!
