Last week a number of Headingley Hall residents enjoyed a trip to the Marks and Spencer’s Memory Café

The cafe, which is run by Nicola once a month and located at the M&S Company Archives in Leeds, is an opportunity for clients to enjoy a craft activity, relaxed chat and reminiscence over teas and coffees plus delicious cakes and biscuits.

This month’s theme was the seaside and we took part in making air drying clay decorations with shells before seeing some of the 1970’s swimwear collection.  Our ladies were bowled over by the elegance and styles of the outfits including coordinating three-piece outfits featuring bold floral prints which were in style at the time!

"Headingley Hall is like a five star hotel, it's beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. The service is second to none. The staff are warm and welcoming which makes dad feel special. The rooms are spacious with coordinated furniture and furnishings with a spacious en suite. The menu is ideal for the service users and the food is of a high standard. Dad always enjoys his stay."
