This December, we want to bring everyone working in the care profession, residents and families an extra bit of festive cheer in our #WeCareAdvent calendar.
 
This year has been difficult. And we know that the negative news about care homes in the media has been so hard to see for our amazing care professionals, who have been going above and beyond during Covid to keep everyone safe, healthy and upbeat.
 
We also know how worrying the news coverage has been for our residents and families, who in addition to dealing with the stress of the pandemic, have been worrying about their loved ones’ health and wellbeing.
 
So, for the countdown to Christmas, we decided to highlight some of the joyful, creative and uplifting moments from our staff, family and residents at Westward Care in #WeCareAdvent. These moments happen every day, but it feels even more important to share them as we get ready for Christmas.
