Headingley Hall residents enjoyed an assortment of Easter activities

The run up to Easter has been very busy at Headingley Hall with a number of residents knitting little chicks which held a Cadbury cream egg and were sold to raise funds for the Headingley Hall Residents Fund.  Over the last few weeks these have been selling well and residents were delighted to find out we have sold out, just in time for Easter!  Over £170 was raised for the fund which is used to assist our residents with the cost of special activities and events.  A extra big thank you to all those who took part and helped to raise these funds.

Residents have also spent time making their own Easter Bonnets and Easter baskets which are on display in our Social Activity Room.  Anne Hanson came to present Easter memories’ and residents had fun trying on different Easter bonnets and discussing how they used to celebrate the day.

Our Easter activities will be finishing off on Sunday with a special Easter Egg Hunt and in the afternoon and we’re all keeping a close eye on the weather forecast!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our residents, relatives and staff a wonderful Easter.
