At Westward Care, we kicked off August as we meant to go on: with some fat rascals and a nice cup of tea for Yorkshire Day.

Thanks to the changeable weather, we’ve been making the most of the sunshine and hosted a party for residents and their families for National Afternoon Tea Week and celebrated our residents’ birthdays out in the gardens at Southlands, Headingley Hall and Pennington Court.

On the rainier days, our residents have been getting creative with knitting circles and crafts – and were treated to a bit of pampering thanks to our hairdresser, Steve.

You can follow how we’re continuing to #getbacktoliving on our Facebook and Twitter.

Despite the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, we know that in some instances the need for extra care for your loved ones has not stopped.

We’ve put together a short guide to outline how we are continuing to focus on extra health and safety measures to look after our residents and Apartment owners and welcome new clients to Westward Care in the safest way possible.

"The staff at Headingley Hall clearly love their jobs and the residents, and from my experience it was evident that the Headingley Hall team go above and beyond for the people in their care. Care is a very challenging job at the best of times, and I cannot commend the staff here highly enough."
