We’re almost two months into the year already and we’ve had a brilliant start to 2024 across all of our homes. We’ve had our very own darts tournament at The Cedars inspired by Leeds United fan Luke Humphries winning the PDC World Darts Championship – we even had a tweet from Luke himself loving our attempts! Maybe one of us might see him in the final next year…

We had a visit at Headingley Hall from Elvis who brought the house down, been dancing along to the brilliant Steve Maycock at Pennington Court and took a group trip to see the fantastic Oliver at the Leeds Playhouse!
And that’s not all – we’ve been joining in with celebrations for Burns Night across all our homes with everything from live bag-pipes to baking our own Irn-Bru scones and just recently been celebrating Chinese New Year by making our own dragons!

Care means more than health to us – it is about happiness and keeping as active! We love packing our calendar with a wide and varied array of events with something for everyone. And people are encouraged to get involved as much or as little as they like.

We’ve got plenty more to look forward to as we approach Easter and the coming of Spring!
