Relief Chef Manager

We are looking for a Relief Chef Manager
 to join our Food & Beverage team at Westward Care.


Location: Across 4 sites: Beeston, Headingley, Methley & Roundhay

Hours: 40 hours per week 
Shift Patterns: 7.30am - 4pm or 9.30am - 6pm

This role offers great work life balance with latest shift time finishing at 6pm.

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum 

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As a Relief Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our homes. This is a leadership position that requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties:

Manage and oversee daily operations in the absence of the Group Catering Manager
Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
Assist with scheduling and coordinating employee shifts
Monitor stock levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service
Assist with food preparation and cooking
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant

Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in team management
Knowledge of kitchen operations and food production processes
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or operational issues
Previous experience in catering or hospitality in a Head Chef role
Appropriate qualifications
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Sound knowledge of food hygiene
Attention to detail and commercial acumen
