Anne has worked in the care sector for 31 years, having found her way into the sector by chance when she took a year out of university to take a job as a care assistant in a home for older people. She chose not to return to university and instead keep working in care, and hasn't looked back since.

Anne has worked in many roles in care throughout the years, progressing to senior, deputy and manager and then to more senior roles, but her heart lies in the role of quality assurance, where she is able to ensure that people receive the highest quality care. She also considers it an important part of her role to always make sure that staff feel valued and supported.
