Along with a shift into a new era following our recent values launch, there also comes a couple of exciting staff changes at Westward Care. We are delighted today to announce that Gareth Smith will be the new Care & Client Services Manager at Southlands, while Laura Clark will be moving into the role of General Manager at Pennington Court.

A member of the Westward Care team since November 2020, Gareth has worked across several of our sites in a number of roles, having most recently been Senior Support Worker at Hunslet Moor House prior to his move this month to his Southlands managerial position. A two-time recipient of the certificate for Westward Care employee of the month, Gareth is also one of the faces of our new Living Our Values Every Day brand, having featured in marketing for the campaign.

Laura, meanwhile, joined Westward Care in April of this year, first acting as Care & Client Services Manager at Southlands, a position which Gareth will now fill. To her new role as Pennington Court General Manager, Laura brings years of hands-on expertise from a diverse range of care settings.
