The new year is already off to a great start at
Headingley Hall, whose team has received an outstanding review on
carehome.co.uk for their reliably hard work.
Submitted by the daughter of a Headingley Hall resident, the review praises everything from the location’s cleanliness to its food, rooms and atmosphere of safety and security.
Giving the overall experience of life at Headingley Hall a perfect score of five stars, LM writes: “I had to make the difficult decision to find a care home for my dad six months ago, and was really worried about how he’d settle in and how well he’d be looked after. Six months in, it’s like a huge weight has been lifted and I can be a daughter again, rather than a carer”.
LM goes on to praise the “lovely” staff for their compassion and professionalism, writing: “I know my dad is safe and well looked after – he’s always clean and smartly dressed...I chose Headingley Hall partly because so many of the staff have worked there for a long time and they really do seem to care about the wellbeing of their residents.”
Naming the “fantastic” food, “lovely” communal dining room and “daily activities” including singing and cinema trips as other strengths of Headingley Hall, LM also describes communication with the home as “excellent”, citing the weekly updates provided by staff and their preparedness to get in contact immediately when any concerns arise.
Writing that she’s always made to feel welcome during visits to Headingley Hall, LM notes that staff have “taken the time to get to know Dad as a person and accommodate his interests” – and ultimately declares that, for both her and her dad, Headingley Hall “was the right move”.
