After the stress of the past year, we’re looking forward to life getting back to normal at Westward Care.

However, we know that going back to normal for some people might mean those who have been caring for family members need to return to the office after furlough – or might need to take a well-earned break after a particularly hard year.

At Westward Care, we offer respite and short-term care options for people in a variety of situations. The opportunity to enjoy a short-term break and some respite at our Apartments in Southlands or Headingley Hall means older family members can enjoy the independence of being in their own beautifully appointed apartment with the reassurance of care and support if or when they need it.

If your family member can live independently and would like the company of living in a retirement community, they can join us on an ‘Accommodation Only’ package. Alternatively, if your loved one more enhanced care and support, we can put a full care package in place as well as optional extras such as meals service, cleaning and laundry.

If you or your loved one needs more intensive nursing care our caring and professional nursing home – Pennington Court also offers this type of care and support on a short-term basis.

You can be assured that your family member will receive outstanding care throughout their stay at whichever Westward Care location suits their needs. Our priority is ensuring that they have a welcoming, happy, and relaxing stay with us.

We’re more than happy to welcome anyone interested in respite and short-term care to come along for Covid-safe look around Headingley Hall and Southlands - or have a virtual tour – and find out more from our experienced team.

"When mum moved to Headingley Hall it took such a weight off my mind. These days, I visit mum to catch up, rather than check-up."
