It has been non-stop across all of our homes this December.

Southlands Retirement Apartment owners enjoyed the Christmas Tree switch on watching from the beautiful Bowman Room before enjoying mince pies and mulled wine. The evening included a special surprise visit from Father Christmas who gave all the residents a gift.

This week they have also visited Collingham School to watch their nativity play where they enjoyed a natter as well as teas, coffees and mince pies kindly served by the older children.

Headingley Hall has also been lively with a host of Christmas entertainment including a visit from the wonderful children of Rose Court to sing some Christmas tunes. The residents and staff have also made December a busy month with fundraising events taking place for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Appeal. And let's not forget the visit to The Carriageworks Sleeping Beauty Panto and Weetwood Hall for a special Christmas Meal out.

Pennington Court has been busy doing lots of Christmas crafts and residents enjoyed a special evening for the Christmas Tree switch on with family and friends. Northeast Productions also visited to perform a special Pantomine for residents.

Getting into the Christmas spirit.
