Southlands residents enjoy a performance from singer, Bob Allott.

Westward Care Apartments and Care Homes frequently host entertainers and Southlands was no exception when we welcomed singer Bob Allott on Monday afternoon.  

This was Bob’s first visit to Southlands and he was a big hit with residents who enjoyed listening to him perform some of our favourite hits from the 1940’s and 50’s and even taking part in a singalong.

With ongoing research showing that regular singing can not only lift your spirits but also provide a workout for your brain, we are delighted that Bob will be returning to perform at Southlands on a regular basis.
