We’ve had a busy month at Westward Care, with our staff pulling out all the stops to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee for our residents and their families.

We had dance performances, live music, creative activities, quizzes and afternoon teas to mark Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne – you can read about everything we had going on here too.

That wasn’t the end of the celebrations, as we celebrated a host of birthdays at Southlands and Headingley Hall. And over at Pennington Court, we also celebrated Alice’s 100th birthday at Pennington Court with a party, cake and musical performances to mark this landmark birthday.

And our creative ladies at Pennington Court have also been continuing with their programme of craft activities, and have been making flower collages, baking biscuits and much more. To mark Pride Month, the ladies also decked Pennington Court out with their handmade rainbow bunting.

To keep up to date with everything happening at Pennington Court, Headingley Hall and Southlands, remember to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
"We’d like to think that it is the little things we do every day that make Westward Care so unique."
