Residents enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Harlow Carr Gardens

To mark the end of Summer Headingley Hall residents enjoyed not one but two fabulous visits to Harlow Carr Garden, following by afternoon tea at Betty’s tearoom.

Set in the heart of rural Yorkshire, the 58-acre garden is one of our favourite places to visit and highlights of the garden include the colourful herbaceous borders and wildflower meadows, the kitchen and scented gardens, the alpine zone and the woodland and streamside walks.  And we were fortunate that the sun shone on both trips!

Both trips were kindly subsidised by the fundraising efforts of our Headingley Hall Events Team who arrange various events and activities throughout the year. Thank you to all the team for their hard work in making sure our residents are able to enjoy these wonderful experiences.
