Martin Monaghan has been a vital part of the Westward Care team since 2004, with his last eight years based specifically at our Headingley Hall Care Home and Apartment location. This week we held a ‘Thank you and Happy Retirement’ party for Martin.
 
Sharon Earnshaw, General Manager at Headingley Hall noted: “Martin has always worked diligently, ensuring that Headingley Hall is always highly maintained and compliant across all our health and safety regulations - nothing was too much trouble for him. We held a special coffee morning to wish him well and on his last day presented him with his own ‘retirement’ balloon, present and cards. Residents and their families sent over some lovely messages to add to his Retirement Card which showed how well thought of he was amongst everyone at Headingley Hall. Staff and residents will really miss having Martin around!”
 
We’ve now introduced Mark to the residents, who will be taking over from Martin. Mark has been working for many years at our Southlands Retirement Apartments and will now be supporting both locations. The Headingley Hall team look forward to working more closely with Mark over the coming months.
