Yalda's Westward Care Story

Westward Care are proud to be a company of opportunity and we work closely with Leeds City College to support placements for their Health and Social Care students with front-line experience in social care.

Yalda, now studying for her NVQ Level 3, joined us at Headingley Hall whilst studying for her NVQ Level 2. We were so impressed with the support and care that she showed for our residents on her four week placement that we encouraged her to apply for paid role once her placement was finished.

She is now a Care Assistant and a permanent and valued member of our team.

Yalda was recently filmed speaking about her career development in social care. We were delighted to see her filmed in action at Headingley Hall and share her story here.

"Westward Care are truly supportive of everyone's professional development. If you want to improve and enhance your career they will provide and guide you towards the right training."
