As part of Headingley Hall’s calendar of events in February, one of our residents was selected to spin a digital wheel to decide which country to celebrate in International Week.

The wheel landed on Italy, which was a very popular choice with our residents and staff!

In order to bring the history, culture and cuisine of Italy to Headingley Hall, our residents got creative and built their own model of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and were treated to an afternoon of antipasti while having a virtual tour of Venice.

Staff at Headingley Hall set themselves the fun task of creating an International Week every month at the beginning of the year – after the success of their trip to Italy, we can’t wait to see where they jet off to next!
"Staff are encouraged to contribute to different projects which the home takes on for example charity events, entertainment evenings for the residents, raffles, birthday parties etc. "
