Ismail Uyumaz
Group Catering Manager 

Ismail became Group Catering Manager at Westward Care in April 2015. He is responsible for all catering services within the Westward Care Group. 

Ismail is a self-motivated and versatile individual with over 10 years experience of management and leadership within the catering and hospitality sector. Ismail’s career began as a kitchen porter in a London hospital before shortly being promoted to trainee chef. After working successfully in all sections of the production kitchen, he moved to a private hospital as a sous chef.

After he moved to Leeds, Ismail worked as head chef, and assistant manager in a range of environments including blue-chip company staff restaurants, popular country pubs and a world renowned football stadium. He has also held the position of Catering Services Manager in a high quality nursing home that provided care for nearly 200 residents.
