An Afternoon at Golden Acre Park

Headingley Hall residents recently had a trip to Golden Acre Park and everyone agreed it was great fun.

Judith - General Manager went on to say:

"We walked quite a way, through lush woodland and round the lakeside, so beautiful with meadowsweet and orchids.

There are still young ducklings and moor chicks and we all enjoyed watching them. Then on up through the herbaceous borders, which were gorgeous, full of colour – and finally a welcome cup of tea on the terrace."

" The photo was taken in front of the Shirley poppies, just before we set off home, and about two minutes before the rain set in, so we were very lucky.
