At Westward Care we are always looking for ways to enhance the quality of life for our clients and you may be able to help! If you share Westward Care’s values of Quality, Respect, Integrity and Service you may be a perfect fit for a volunteer role at Headingley Hall, Pennington Court or Southlands.
Volunteering at one of Westward Care’s homes is an excellent opportunity to take an active role in your community by befriending and sharing your interests and hobbies with older people in your community. Just a few hours a week can make a massive difference and could put the skills you already have to good use, this could be an arts and crafts skill, playing chess or even being able to discuss the finer points of the weekend’s football game.
This is a fantastic opportunity to possibly learn some new skills, meet new people and really make a difference to older people in your community.
A range of volunteer opportunities are available at Westward Care and for further information on these please contact Rebecca on 0113 331 4836 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note in order to protect our clients, in addition to two satisfactory references, a full DBS (Disclosure and Barring Services) check will be required and this cost will be covered by Westward Care. In return we will require a commitment of time which can be agreed prior to commencing your voluntary work at Westward Care.
