Senior Night Carer – Headingley Hall

Job Title:  Senior Night Carer

Based at:  Headingley Hall

Pay Scale:  Competitive Rates

Hours of Work:  Full time (4 nights)

Rota Patterns:  (9pm – 7.30am)

A/L Entitlement:  The annual leave year runs from the 1st April to 31st March following.  The full entitlement is 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays) for a full year and pro rata for an incomplete year’s service.  Annual leave is restricted for all staff over the Christmas/New Year period.

Essentials and Desirable Factors: Minimum NVQ III or equivalent; further details on personal specification


Headingley Hall is an established and well respected Care Facility for Older people in the Headingley area of Leeds.

Your key role will be to actively support the Care Manager and Deputy Managers, communicate and monitor high standards of performance in the delivery of care, demonstrating concern for excellence within the Home.  You will be experienced in being the responsible person on shift and able to deal with a range of issues that may occur, to manage and support a team of carers and have experience of administrating medication.

You will contribute to deliver the vision of Headingley Hall, to ensure a profitable high quality service is planned and delivered.

You will lead by example to ensure that all customers and employees are treated with equality, dignity and respect.

You will be required to attend mandatory training sessions plus any additional training programmes.
