Outreach Support Worker – Headingley Hall

Based at:  Headingley Hall Care Home & Apartments

Hours of work:  Full & Part Time Available

Pay Scale:  £competitive

Rota Pattern:  Early shift 7.00am – 2.00pm, Late shift 2.00pm – 9.00pm                                                  

Annual Leave Entitlement:  The annual leave year runs from 1st April to 31st March following. The full entitlement is 5.6 weeks (inclusive of Bank Holidays) for a full year and pro rata for an incomplete year’s service. Annual leave is restricted for all staff over the Christmas / New Year period

Westward Care are currently looking to recruit an Outreach Support Worker to join our friendly team based at Headingley Hall with both full and part time hours currently available.

If you don’t have the relevant experience then this isn’t necessarily a problem. We will still be happy to take on an individual new to the care industry provided you have the right values and attitude. You must be willing to work towards QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care as a minimum, which we will fully support you doing.

The ideal candidate will be organised, have the ability to work using their own initiative and be expected to deliver high quality person centred care and support, ensuring the privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment of our clients. Your key role will be to ensure that our client’s personal, physical, social and emotional needs are met on a daily basis, working closely with our clients to meet their individual needs and wishes.
