Future Developments
Our vision for care and support in Leeds.
Headingley Hall
At Headingley Hall the wait is almost over.
Our exclusive new apartments for older people, at Headingley Hall, are almost ready and we are putting the finishing touches to our range of supportive services to meet your individual needs. It is the attention to detail, in both facilities and service, which make these new homes so special.
The Independent Living Apartments at Headingley Hall are a new concept which allows you not only to own your own home, but also strikes a perfect balance between independent living and support services, providing everything you’ll need to live a rich and fulfilling life.
Each of our 19 exclusive 1 bed “open plan” apartments has been specifically designed for older people who have access to support services when they need them and the companionship and reassurance of living in a safe, secure and supportive environment.
Discover the Headingley Hall difference for yourself and view our luxurious apartments. Our show apartments are now open on a daily basis or you can also make an appointment to talk with Judith or Janet about the wider development and services we offer. Please call 0113 275 9950
Pennington Court
We will shortly be undertaking a modernisation programme at the home, which will include new high quality ensuite rooms and improvement to the external landscaping. We will also be undertaking a pilot scheme, in conjunction with Leeds City Council, to offer care and support in an apartment style setting under the Personalisation Agenda.
Southlands
We have planning permission to build a purpose built extension for around 20 high quality rooms to extend our nursing service. We aim to start work on this development during 2010.
Otley
During the summer of 2009 we acquired a Brownfield site on the outskirts of Otley and have been successful in gaining planning permission for a new 46 bed care home. Once complete this will provide accommodation of unrivalled quality.
Other Projects
In addition to the development of new and existing care facilities, we propose to build a specialist training centre specifically for providing training to the health & social care sector. This will help promote best practice across the region and ensure all Westward Care staff meet our exacting standards. We will also be sharing our expertise with other companies in the sector to raise overall levels of care and service.
