Westward Care was formed in 1992, when the organisation purchased it's first home: a 23 bed nursing home in the West Ward area of Leeds.

This location subsequently became the inspiration for our current company name. The home was sold in 1996. Since this time, the organisation has grown organically and with the acquisition of three high quality care homes:

• Pennington Court – a 55 bed nursing and residential home
• Headingley Hall – a 14 bed (later increased to 42 bed) residential home
• Southlands – a 35 bed nursing home

The organisation continues to grow and today, we have a number of new developments. In future, we aim to add to our unique portfolio of High Quality Care Facilities serving older people in and around the Leeds area.
