The Westward Way

Westward Care is committed to operating in an ethical & responsible manner. We also strive to create and build strong links with local authorities, the NHS and health professionals, and develop links with the local community.

In keeping with this approach, we have created a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and actively help them realise their full potential. We also strive to improve the quality of life of our workforce, the local community and society at large, while minimising the environmental impact of our activities.

Helping people and communities fulfil their potential

We aim to achieve our goals by:

  • Striving to engender and develop Westward Care’s values
  • Identifying and implementing environmentally responsible practices & procedures
  • Improving the environment and community in and around our facilities
  • Encouraging all members of staff to embrace our values and play an active role in local community projects and causes

Westward Care also takes its wider responsibilities to the care sector seriously. Our Managing Director, Peter Hodkinson is the Chairman of Leeds Care Association and a Director on the Board of Skills for Care. What’s more, we work closely with the local authorities and the various departments of the NHS to help find innovative solutions to many of the issues and challenges facing the sector.
