Westward Care has been building and operating care homes and supported living services for older people for over 20 years. We purchased our first home in 1992, a 23 bed nursing home in the West Ward area of Leeds.
Although this home was sold in 1996, its location became the inspiration for our company name. Since then, we have grown through the acquisition and development of three high quality care centres:
- Pennington Court – a 55 bed nursing and residential care home with 8 ‘Extra Care Plus‘ apartments
- Headingley Hall – a 57 bed residential care home with 30 independent living apartments
- Southlands – a 28 bed nursing and residential care home
Committed to improving access to care
Today, Westward Care is a financially strong and successful company that continues to expand and invest in new developments. We aim to add to our portfolio of high quality care homes and independent living apartments to meet the long-term social care and accommodation needs of older people in and around Leeds.
“Headingley Hall has offered consistently high standards of care, I am proud to be part of the team”
