Keeping Fit at Southlands
Residents at Southlands have been enjoying chair exercise sessions with Mark from U Sit U Exercise who is a regular and popular visitor to Southlands.
Mark’s enthusiasm makes the sessions great fun and they are perfect for helping older people keep fit whilst still being gentle enough to not put any undue pressure or strain on themselves. Sitting exercises can help to improve mobility, maintain flexibility and are easy to follow so perfect for beginners!
Exercise sessions are offered as a regular activity at all Westward Care locations to assist our clients in keeping healthy and maintaining their independence for longer.
