Visit to Lotherton Hall
Southlands clients recently enjoyed a day out to Lotherton Hall near Aberford.
On arrival clients had a delicious lunch in the café which was followed by a leisurely stroll around the main house and gardens, including the bird garden before enjoying teas, coffees and ice-creams in the courtyard.
The Hall, which was extensively rebuilt during the Victorian and Edwardian eras, holds an impressive collection of objets d’art which has been built up since the 18th century and is also home to an extensive collection of endangered bird species and a herd of red deer.
Clients commented on how much they had enjoyed the day & are looking forward to their next ‘country house’ visit to Harewood House which will be dressed for Christmas.
